Hi,
Here is another Otites from Baden-Wuerttemberg, 20 km west of Stuttgart. In this case I think of O. centralis, as the wing pattern is clear and rich in contrast, the subbasal crossband is well formed. Unfortunately I got no good picture of the gena width to compare it with https://diptera.i...d_id=95181. So is the wing pattern sufficiently decisive? The thorax pattern of the two flies is also different, but this is not mentioned in the key, so just variability?
