Hi, found this chironomid (and some more) on a fence at a small lake in a conservation area near Ansbach, Middle Franconia.

Is it possible to identify from these fotos?

Thanks, Eric

Thank you very much, John!

This male was sitting nearby - can it help to get closer to the species level?
