Hello again forum members,

I researched if my ID was correct and relied upon morphological comparison between Lucilia sericata and Lucilia cuprina detailed by Williams KA, Villet MH (2014) Morphological identification of Lucilia sericata, Lucilia cuprina and their hybrids (Diptera, Calliphoridae). ZooKeys 420: 69–85. doi: 10.3897/zookeys.420.7645

However, I am not 100% certain on the ID and decided to refer it to the forum because I could not check the colour of the frontoclypeal membrane (my prepared specimen's proboscis is not extended).

Hope the pictures may reveal more about this individual. It is documented in NW Bulgaria, my garden, on 22 April 2020 feeding on Veronica persica.
