Hi, last weekend (27.october.2007) i was in a small reserve from Romania. Turda Gorges, limestone area, 500->700m. collected from vegetation close to water edge. i think is some kind of Parydra but i don't know to go furter. any further identification is possible? need to prepare genitalia? photo of mounted specimens, only one found. thanks in advance for the help, cosmln [EDIT]: title changed cosmln attached the following image: [175.03Kb] Edited by cosmln on 30-10-2007 22:37 |

It's always wise to, at least, pull the genitalia out. Bend them away from the body, so ventral side becomes visible. |

Yes, I agree - it is aquila (or some closely-related, undescribed, Romanian sibling species )
