Hello, ID-help with this horsefly much appreciated. Zürich, CH, lowland swamp + forest area, 26.04.2020. I tried the key of Zeegers & Schulten but remain in doubts... thanks!

Well, it is an excellent key, I can recommend it 😋😋. It is a relatively dark male H. bimaculata. You can nicely see the long hairs on vertex, excluding lurida. Theo |
