Hello, I photographed this Tachinid (I supose) today (2020/04/26) in Vienna, Austria at the edge of a forest. Browsing through the Tachinid-gallery I found Gymnosoma looking most likely. Is my guess correct?
Thanks in advance and greetings from Vienna,
Eckhart

Yes, G. nitens. Keep checking the Euphorbia, they are very good for Tachinids.
