Hi all, I have some difficulties in ID'ing this remarkable fly, swept from marram grass dunes in the Netherlands. - The head has very few hairs/spines. Only some very small, pale spines bordering the ocellar triangle, a small pale pair of converging post-ocellars and a small pair of pail outer vertical bristles, pointed backwards. - The scutum has small pale hairs, regullarly all over, except 2 longer dorsoventrals just before the scutellum and 2 notopleural longer bristles, all pale. - There is a vague pattern on the scutum (not or barely visible on the pictures) with 3 darker stripes, merged together to a total darker scutum before the suture (except from paler postpronoum & notopleuron). - Scutellum has a converging apical pair of bristles - A remarkable broadened last tarsal segment on leg 1 Any opinions welcome!
