Thanks to John Carr for the preliminary ID. Photo from Finca Las Piedras outside Puerto Maldonado in the Peruvian lowland Amazon. Shot 16/01/2020. Fortunately it had just moulted and so I was able to approach and shoot at length without frightening the subject. The colours may also not have completely settled and so it might appear paler than is habitually seen in this species: Thanks for any help with the ID, Paul Edited by pbertner on 22-01-2020 15:21 Portfolio - https://rainfores...ugmug.com/ http://www.flickr...37609@N08/ blog photo companion http://pbertner.w... |
