Found at Las Piedras Amazon Center in Madre de Dios region in southeastern Peru on 7.IX.2019. Female Eraxasilus?

Yes, Eraxasilus sp., female. Note the armature of bristles anteroventrally on femur2 -- which seem typical of this genus. This is similar to E. gerion but really need a male to make that ID. |

Thanks Eric. Surprisingly I was able to get close to the females of this species. The males wouldn't let me get anywhere close. Way too wary! |
