The abdomen is too pointed to be a Culex. This is Aedes (sensu lato), possibly Ochlerotatus leucomelas, but I can't be sure from a photo.

Thank you for this first elements. However, Ochlerotatus leucomelas seems not present in Mediterranean France. |
