Hi all, I would like to identify this fly photographed at Puerto de Lorenzo, Asturias (Spain), 1400 asl. I think it could be a Muscidae. About 8-10mm length. Any idea of genus, species? Thanks for any help, cheers, FRV FRV attached the following image: ![]() [175.78Kb] |

The anepimeron is haired, ruling out most genera. It might be one of the southern Musca. |

Thank you John, I wasn't even sure it was a Muscidae ... just the general outlook that reminds of the house flies. |
