Hello,

I discovered this fly in Germany, Bavaria, Burgau, on 30.05.2019.

Is it possible to determine it more closely?

Because I only have one video of her, I linked it to my homepage.

It seems me to have reddish tip of scutellum, so perhaps Muscina.

Many Thanks,
could it be Muscina stabulans because of the yellowish legs?
Best regards, Heiko

Some flies preserved in ethanol and then pinned often get the eyes sunken, how can this be avoided? Best answer: I usually keep alcohol-collected material in alcohol

Yes, dipterologists from far abroad, please buy your copy at veldshop. Stamps will be expensive, but he, the book is unreasonably cheap Smile
