Hello!

Most of the flies at a fence two days ago (Ostwestfalen/Germany) were of the genus Neomyia (I think). But are all the same species? Or are green and blue ones different species (cornicina and viridescens)? I assume, all posted animals are females.

Hi Juergen.
Neomyia is correct.
Bluish or greenish shining doesn't much matter.
The 2-nd one looks as N.viridescens
