Where in the world did you see this? and do you have photos from other angles? Smile

It looks like a bit like Blepharipa but Theo might be able to make more from it.

It looks very 'Sturmiini', given the date the obvious ID would be Sturmia bella.

Yes, Theo has it then - Sturmia bella Smile I have found the colour of the scutellum a bit variable but 7-8mm would favour Sturmia too Smile

It helps when you know that Sturmia is most common (or should I say, least rare) in September.
