Hello friends, some help with the ID of this one? Found in Antananarivo, Central Plateau, about 1000 meters over sea, in a garden inside the city. Thanks in advance, Isidro |

Not Syrphidae - this one is Stratiomyidae, so best in "Diptera: adults" forum

I tought it was an Stratiomyidae first, but after that I look at the antennae... these antennae cannot be from a Stratiomyidae |

There are plenty of the subfamily Sarginae with antennae like that.
