Hello,
On 20 July 2007 I photographed this copulating couple of Yellow-faced bees in the Spaeth Arboretum, Berlin-Baumschulenweg. On the one hand, I would like to share the nice picture with you. On the other, I would be glad to get a species name, if this is possible at all.
Thanks, Sundew

Hylaeus communis, a nice photo. May I use it for your gallery on www.galerie.hymis.de?

Sure. I'll contact you via e-mail and send a file somewhat bigger in size and some more information.
Greetings, Sundew

Some flies preserved in ethanol and then pinned often get the eyes sunken, how can this be avoided? Best answer: I usually keep alcohol-collected material in alcohol

Yes, dipterologists from far abroad, please buy your copy at veldshop. Stamps will be expensive, but he, the book is unreasonably cheap Smile
