In July I saw this Tachinid in Tessin, Switzerland, village Mavaglia (approx 350 m altitude). I guess it's Cylindromia, but can it be further IDed from these photographs? Small patch of grasland within village, with Centaurea, Aster and an occasional Hogweed (this one). 9 - 11 mm.
