Chrysotoxum festivum

I photographed this Chrysotoxum near the little village of Montanaro, Piedmont (Italy) at 200 mt above sea level, on September 20th, 2016. Could it be C. festivum?

Should be ok, but it would be good to see whether the femora 1 and 2 are really completely yellow to exclude C. vernale with black femoral bases. However, in the latter the yellow stripes are straighter and not curved at their outer ends. So C. festivum! Regards, Sundew |
