Hi, I'm new around here so keep me straight if I step out of line. Can I have some help please identifying this Crane fly? Found in rural east Lincs, UK, Sept 2007, attracted to light. I am assuming it is a Tipula species from the wing venation - maybe T. varipennis ? Or T. pabulina, T. submarmorata or T. lateralis? Male image attached.
