It's not Chloropidae. Some other acalyptrate fly. When you say "host plant", do you mean the larva was mining or feeding inside the plant? |

The specimen labels noted these informs: collected date, eclosion(from puparium) date and host plant. so it meant the larva was mining, searching prey or just living inside or outside the plant.
