Hello, Pierre Duhem : France : Saint-Leu-la-Forêt : 95320 : 21/07/2018 Altitude : 188 m - Taille : 6-7 mm Réf. : 215966 Pierre Duhem : France : Saint-Leu-la-Forêt : 95320 : 21/07/2018 Altitude : 188 m - Taille : 6-7 mm Réf. : 215967 [Click on the picture to enlarge it.] I had a hard time to find an orientation. At the beginning, I tried to find a solution in the Dexiinae, because of the general colour, but the abdominal setae and the alar venation didn't match. After that, Eugène (evdb on this forum) told me that I should search in the Sarcophagidae family. He meant that Taxigramma could be a good candidate. Even if the general colour don't match with my specimen (I still have two pictures of a male specimen on the same flower if it matters), do you think that this is a track to follow? Well, as you can see, I'm pretty lost with this taxon. I welcome any pointer to solve this little mystery. Thanks in advance. Edited by pierred on 18-09-2021 11:00 Pierre Duhem |

Subfamily Miltogramminae, but not Taxigramma. |
