Hello,
A Chironomidae female about 5 mm found in East of France (Wittelsheim 68310) September 20th, 2018 in a little wood.
Psectrotanypus varius ? Sorry for the picture, it is only one I have take.

Yes, this looks OK for P. varius - the wing markings can vary a bit.
