Hello everybodies, I need your help to identify this small fly found among the dunes of the south coast of French Brittany next to a pond with reed. Approximately 2mm, seen on September 05, 2018 in Palud Gourinet, 29710 Pouldreuzic (France) The base of the wing is white and the crossveins are black. I did not find anything in Ephydridae... may be a Canacidae ? thank you in advance. Pierre-Yves Edited by Pierre-Yves on 13-09-2018 19:20 |

This female specimen is rather similar to T. obscurella by the lacking of dark long marginal stripe along the costal and subcostal wing veins section. Andrzej dr. A. J. Woznica, Institute of Environmental Biology, Wroclaw University of Environmental & Life Sciences |
