Hello,

In July in France in the Pyrenees I photographed from all angles this diptera that seems to be a tolmerus :

His ovipositor

After looking on the internet I have no idea what a tolmerus it could be.

Do you know what kind of tolmerus is it ??

thank you

Williams

My gut feeling is Machimus cf chrysitis but I can't see the details very well like the under side of the front femora (bristles) or the number of scutellar marginal bristles.
Greetings,

I can no longer send private messages (and maybe not receive?), even though my inbox and outbox are not yet full. I write, click "send" and they disappear and never show up in the outbox.
