One of the fissicorn Tachinidae, which are mostly in subfamily Tachininae.

The only fissicorn species in the key to Central European Tachinidae is Peribaea fissicornis. We have several species in America.

Acutally, nowadyas, there is a second: Peribaea hertingi.
Only the females can be separated (and only the males are fissicorn.... )
