Hi everybody,

I found this spider in the shed a couple of days ago. At first I thought is was a Metellina sp. But now I'm not sure anymore.

Someone out there with a better suggestion?

Thanks!

I'm not sure what the genus is, but the rather translucent appearance of the legs suggest that this is an immature specimen, so proceed with care! Wink

Some flies preserved in ethanol and then pinned often get the eyes sunken, how can this be avoided? Best answer: I usually keep alcohol-collected material in alcohol

Yes, dipterologists from far abroad, please buy your copy at veldshop. Stamps will be expensive, but he, the book is unreasonably cheap Smile
