Northern Germany, Schleswig-Holstein, Bellin eastward of Kiel, earthwall (overgrown with small bushes like hazel, blackberry bushes) under big oakes between field and street, the fly was dead (short time before I took a photo of an Asilidae with an „equal“ fly as prey), length about 5 mm; 9h of July 2018, (Photos: kuv).
