Hello! A Muscid (?) from yesterday at a hedge (Ostwestfalen/Germany). Size of a normal house fly. Could it be Mydaea sp.? Thanks! Hi Juergen. Mydaea (for example, M.urbana) and Phaonia (for example Ph.angelicae) may look very much alike on photo - we can't say is radial node setulose or not. In this case I'd say Phaonia (on 2-nd image we can see too strong ad on t3). Nikita Nikita Vikhrev - Zool Museum of Moscow University |

That's why I thought, this could be it. Best regards, Jürgen -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Juergen Peters Borgholzhausen, Germany WWW: http://insektenfo... -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= |
