Hello! This fly from yesterday night at a tree in our garden (Ostwestfalen/Germany) was smaller than the many, many Polietes lardarius, only the size of a house fly. Can it be Polietes domitor? Thanks in advance! Hello, Nikita and Gabor! Xespok wrote: Muscina levida female I think. Many thanks! I had considered Muscina, but when I looked at my older photos, the flies had mostly a stronger curved vein like in this individual: http://insektenfo...ntid=11974 Best regards, Jürgen -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Juergen Peters Borgholzhausen, Germany WWW: http://insektenfo... -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= |

Definitely Muscina levida. The bend/curve in M varies a lot between individuals.
