Yesterday, I caught this Mycetophilidae in my backyard (Veenendaal, Netherlands). Since I just bought my first microscope, I tried to identify it. However, I found this family difficult! I think it way be an Anatella spec., but I find the drawings of the genitalia difficult to interpret. Is the genus correct and is it possible to identify it to a species level? |

Think you so much! With which characteristics did you identify it?

The shape of gonostylus is characteristic for this species, see e.g. here: http://www.spessart-fliegen.de/diptera/mycetophilidae/exechia/exechia_nigroscutellata/exechia_nigroscutellata.html |
