I am posting three photos of a fly found in cloud forest on St Helena (Atlantic Ocean) - pictures by Liza Fowler. Does anyone recognise the species, or genus, or even just confirm the family?

Defnitely not Drosophilidae. Perhaps Lauxaniidae?
