Hi Diego Welcome on board. The pic doesn't show, at least not on my screen. Please check the help on this matter. Your pic can't be bigger than 160 kB or so. Theo |

Thanks Jorge. I have put the name in Google and all the photos leave with the abdomen orange instead of black like in mine. Is single a variation of color or sexual dimorphism? |

See here (mira aqui): http://www.dipter...post_34553 Theo's words: "This species is extremely variable in colouration, this variety has nothing to do with sexual dimorphism." Edited by jorgemotalmeida on 30-08-2007 19:44 |

Very good! And Susan, look at those hind tibiae, difficult to see in this pic, but most remarkable (pennipes). The first time I saw this species was 10 years ago, I knew it made to be from another universe. Actually, it turned out to be the Neotropics. Theo |

Theo - I know what you mean - I noticed the pennation. This pic was just so unexpected. Well done to Dicon. Can we have it in the gallery please? Edited by Susan R Walter on 31-08-2007 08:35 Susan |
