I actually study spiders but my studies are currently restricted to Central Europe. The characteristic chlor-colored palps of Heliophanus suggest that you are correct about the genus. However, species level of Heliophanus can be difficult-to-impossible without genitalia. A few Heliophanus can be difficult to separate even with genitalia. I suspect that this is in the decoratus group but nothing definitive. John and Nini. Naturalists not experts. |
