I actually study spiders but my studies are currently restricted to Central Europe.

The characteristic chlor-colored palps of Heliophanus suggest that you are correct about the genus. However, species level of Heliophanus can be difficult-to-impossible without genitalia. A few Heliophanus can be difficult to separate even with genitalia. I suspect that this is in the decoratus group but nothing definitive.

John and Nini. Naturalists not experts.

Some flies preserved in ethanol and then pinned often get the eyes sunken, how can this be avoided? Best answer: I usually keep alcohol-collected material in alcohol

Yes, dipterologists from far abroad, please buy your copy at veldshop. Stamps will be expensive, but he, the book is unreasonably cheap Smile
