Hello! I founf this only 4-5 mm long fly yesterday night in our garden (Ostwestfalen/Germany) and was wondering about its silvery gloss. Only on the photo I saw that it consisted of small drops of water. Unfortunately they hide most characters, but is it possible to say that this is a Tachinid? Thanks in advance! It hides most characters... you can say that again ! It's a Tachinid, most likely Siphonini. Theo |
