A hairy hoverfly - perhaps Eristalis intricaria?

This hairy hoverfly was seen on 20 july.
I am not sure, but could it be Eristalis intricaria?

The fly was Seen near a lake and a bog with alder in Eastern Denmark

That helps! Wink I'm thinking this may be Eristalis anthophorina, but I'm not familiar with the species, so best to wait for Gerard or another grand master to confirm.

I think you are right though. Didn't have this species in my mind, it is not common i Denmark.
