This fly was sitting today 20.8.07 at the edge of a little forest near to my garden.
Can You help me to identify ?
location: Eastern part of Austria, near Stockerau, 172 m sea -level

Therevidae - possibly Thereva but identification beyond this is difficult Smile

do you have frontal view of this fly? Viweing the face could help the ID for therevid flies. Smile
