I found this fly yesterday near Ásotthalom, about 25km W. of Szeged, S. Hungary Based on this thread: https://diptera.info/forum/viewthread.php?thread_id=74791 it sould be Allophorocera rutila. Is that right? Thanks for any help! Greetings, Henrik piros attached the following image: [199.99Kb] |

No, eyes are bare. Some pollen grains, I'd think

You mean, proclinate orbital setae ? It is a male, so there are none.... Theo |
