Location. Midwest Sweden (Dalsland) Date: 2007-JUL-18 Habitat: Garden (wall of the house) I don't remember seeing it on this site. I will not even guess what species this is other than I think it must be Tachinidae. Pity we have only one angle, but it's clearly a Dexiini and it should be the female of Dinera ferina (some slight reservations: it just might be Billaea triangulifera, but then the light is playing very dirty tricks. So I don't think so) Theo |

Thank you very much Theo! I tried to take photos from the side, but the fly wasn't very cooperative. They often turn their back on you. Is there anything in special you would have seen? I'll check my photos again. |
