Hello, This is an animal that I caught at 17th of march this year (2004) I caught several of those on bare ground near a little pond, together with some Ochtera mantis (Ephydridae) It is a muscid, I think from the genus Lispe. Look especially at its palps and its tarsi of the first legs. Can anyone tell me if this is true? Greetings, Edited by Gerard Pennards on 19-09-2004 19:23 Greetings, Gerard Pennards |

Your identification is correct: it is a male of Lispe (probably L. tentaculata). |
