Photograph taken on 2017-04-09 on the bathroom of my home, in Motril, Granada, Spain. Immediate area of the Mediterranean coast. I think it is tribe Chironomini -- dorsal eye extension, angled r-m, R5 ending near wingtip. The hairy wing veins might provide a clue to ID. Otherwise, the tiny spines and spurs at the tip of the mid and hind tibiae can be used to identify some females, but I have no experience doing that. |

I agree with John - it does appear to be Chironomini. A warning for me to look more carefully before responding!
