Hi,

I only have picture of this male Hybomitra I met a beginning of summer in Central Massif (France) at low altitude, in a area with forest and peat bog.
Do you think it is possible to identify it?
It look a lot like my usual H ciureai, but there is other close species I never met.

Ciureai is unlikely. Seems more like the male of bimaculata, dinstinguenda or muehlfeldi. Males are difficult and we would need razorsharp closeups to be more sure.

Well, I guessed it would be so, but it's still only few possibility left.
Thanks!
