Hello!

This year there are more Phasias around than I have ever seen! In the last weeks it was almost exclusively P. hemiptera, but yesterday there were at least 3-4 species from 3.5 to 15 mm. For the first time in late summer there were many P. aurigera. Interestingly the males seemed to prefer the Solidago canadensis flowers, while the female visited the Mentha plants nearby. All from Ostwestfalen/Germany.
