This Muscidae was found in a meadow east of Gothenburg. I think it might be Pseusocoenosia abnormis.

This is Helina. There is a prealar, small but present. And Pseudocoenosia abnormis would have 4 post dc. I guess the arista is plumose too ? Your Helina could be ciliatocosta or moedlingensis. Pease, check for ciliae on radial node (on underside of wing) and for small setulae under the scutellum. Maybe I'll have other questions after this. I don't think there are small setulae on meron under the posterior spiracle ? Edited by Stephane Lebrun on 11-10-2016 20:22 Stephane. |

It has setulae on radial node, underside of scutellum and meron are bare.

I'm stupid, this is a male with this abdomen shape, and thus, with this very broad frons this is Helina ciliatocosta !
