Small fly with short-haired eyes (Maybe Scaptomyza)

Reminds me of a fly I had in July which turned out to be from the Family Carnidae, Genus, Meoneura Head and wings look similar [ish] http://www.dipter...d_id=74753 Might be barking up the wrong tree, but it won't be the first or last time that's happened |

I'd check out Scaptomyza (Drosophilidae) first. I think that the thorax is "wet" or "greasy", so the grey dusting is not apparent.
