Hello Today I found this gall in the midrib of a leaf of Hypochaeris spec. (Bexbach/Germany). Inside I found this tiny larva. There are two types of flies that occur in this plant genus. These species are Phytomyza cecidonomia and Napomyza lateralis. Which species is it most likely. The leaf I found looked just like the leaf on the following image.
