There seems to be a tendency for the lowermost yellow spots to be darker (cp. https://www.flick...925404470/, https://www.flick...6975553098). The spring generation is said to be darker bodied than the summer generation, so your late one "remembers" the dark colours only at the abdomen tip Grin
