Hi,

i think this my first non diptera post. i will try not to come too often with them.
this was a small hymenoptera (i think no more than 10mm) (like an Ichneumnid... or maybe it is). but maybe because of the particular looks can be IDed

photo taken in 19.july.2007 in a steppe like habitat, close to a smal river.

Hello!

Braconidae. I had also taken some pictures from it few weeks ago in my garden. Difficult to identify only from photos but someone told me that it might belong to genera Bracon.

Also very difficult to identify by specimens, and recently very few or no specialists in Central Europe. Nice Photo!
