Hello! I'm no expert, but I would say Anthomyia (cf. pluvialis). Best regards, Jürgen -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Juergen Peters Borgholzhausen, Germany WWW: http://insektenfo... -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= |

to me this not seems to be A. pluvialis. See this -- Tony Irwin wrote this (http://tinyurl.com/2gxz2x) -- "Anthomyia species (not pluvialis) male. According to Mike Ackland, the post-sutural lateral black spot is separated from the small spot above the wing base in pluvialis, but usually joined in the related species. Using this character, pluvialis is shown in this image - http://home.scarlet.be/entomart/Anthomyiaplu.html, but the images of "pluvialis" in Diptera.info gallery are not that species." |
