Well, this is no Platycheirus, though the antennae look rather dark. However, the female has yellow triangular markings that point to Melanostoma, and according to the dust spots on the frons I wolud assume M. scalare. Compare the female with http://www.dipter...d_id=46348, the upper half of the antennae is also dark there. Regards, Sundew |
