Hey friends Sunny day yesterday... many Syrphidae, one bigger thant others Elophilus pendulus or Anasimyia contracta ? or..? thank you SDS

The thorax stripes make it a Helophilus, and Anasimyia contracta also has a very differently coloured abdomen. Colour of abdomen and hind legs fits H. pendulus (see also http://images.goo...p;biw=1450). Regards, Sundew |
